PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 3, in Linthicum, MD. Job ID#207723
Job Description:
Seeking a MATLAB software developer to support the RADAR Tasking Model (RTM) for our development, production, and operational Space RADAR Payload programs.
RTM is a suite of software designed to identify opportunities for requested payload tasking and to generate the required commanding inputs to command the Space Radar Payload.
Responsibilities include:
-Radar Tasking Model (RTM) team member
-SW Development and Maintenance of RTM software in Object Oriented MATLAB
-This position is on-site in a classified program area in Linthicum/Baltimore, Maryland.
-Active TS and eligibility for SCI clearance is required to be considered.
-This position can be staffed at a Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the Basic Qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications:
-Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
-Sr Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MS
-Radar tasking modeling knowledge and experience required
-Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB
-Active TS clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
-Experience with Space Sensor Payloads
-Experience with RADAR performance modeling
-BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
-SCI clearance
