Are you a dynamic and outcomes -driven Commercial leader with a passion for the hospitality industry? Join the pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon as our Director of Commercial Services and lead our efforts in driving revenue, attracting new guests, and creating unforgettable experiences .

Expected to open in Q2 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 169 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique layout will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic regional elements of Lisbon that stimulate the senses.

As the Director of Commercial Services, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance our brand presence. Your energy, enthusiasm, and innovative ideas will help us stay ahead of the competition and attract a diverse range of guests. You will lead a talented team of revenue, sales, marketing and events colleagues, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Excellent personal management skills; time management, meeting deadlines, effective communication and presentations skills. Excellent understanding of total hotel revenue management concepts, processes, and systems. Understands both Brand strategies and cultures. Knowledge of advanced revenue management techniques.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

· 5 years progressive hotel sales and/or revenue experience

· Minimum 2 years hotel commercial leadership experience or equivalent, Pre-opening experience is essential.

· Ability to create and execute Strategic Revenue Plan to enhance revenue

· Proficient knowledge of key market segmentation.

· Negotiation/interpretation of contracts skills

· Portuguese & English are prerequisite for business communication skills- both written and verbal

· Proficient in Microsoft Suites

· Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems

· Ability to travel when and as required as part of the role
