International Sr Technical Product Manager (ERP Applications) in Lisle, Illinois

Position Overview

International is looking for a Sr Technical Product Manager (ERP Applications) to support our Digital Transformation Journey.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Logistics and Supply Chain functions used in the Production & Logistics department to drive on-time delivery of material into our plants. You will be expected to play a lead role to support the Logistics COE and material planning and delivery capabilities; and also provide day-to-day leadership to the product team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the domain.

  • Drive standards, where relevant, across the manufacturing plants and supply chain and logistics functions

  • Ensure Manufacturing ERP Product Team is delivering quality solutions that meet business needs and priorities

  • Define and design solutions that use the best technology platform which may be Baan, LN, low-code platform, Power BI or other platforms

  • Define and maintain the technology roadmap for the domain, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and architectural standards.

  • Develop architecture blueprints, design patterns, and guidelines for the domain, promoting reusability and scalability.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the domain architecture.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.

  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and other domain architects to ensure consistency and coherence across domains

  • Manages solutioning for our Logistics COE and supply chain that drives on-time material delivery to our five (5) manufacturing plants.

  • Accountable for the implementation and system development, which includes the design, project development, testing, and delivery of various application modules, including configuration, reports, queries, interfaces, conversions, and implementation of custom solutions.

  • Design scalable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions and projects meeting internal and external customers’ objectives.

  • Analyzes problems/needs, researches possible solutions and implementations using existing functionality as much as possible

  • Lead workshops or sessions to gather information for functional and system requirements,

  • Design any necessary pilot or prototype projects to validate fit of solutions prior to full-scale investment or implementation based on level of clarify and confidence in final product.

  • Drive the five-year roadmap along with the solution architects and product owners

  • Design and recommend appropriate data structures needed for solutioning.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 10 years of information systems/information technology experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 8 years of information systems/information technology experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

OR

  • At least 12 years of information systems/information technology experience

  • At least 4 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • ERP experience, preferably Baan, LN or SAP

  • Fundamental understanding of key technologies relevant to ERP applications, including SSO, SAML, Web Services, LDAP, REST APIs, SOAP Interfaces, SQL, Oracle database.

  • Experience with transportation management solutions, 3PL warehouses

  • Experience with low-code, no-code platforms such as Mendix, Pega, or Appian

  • Ability to query data using SQL and analyze data for exceptions, problem areas

  • Look beyond current solutions and approaches to resolve complex problems.

  • Ability to work in fast-changing business environments

  • Ability to influence and persuade key influencers in the business

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (on pros, cons, and risks).

  • Provide thought leadership in solving business processes and technical problems.

  • Ability to analyze data findings to draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to explain complex practices, processes, or procedures in clear and simple terms.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and organization change initiatives.

  • Proven expertise and overall responsibility in customer service and contact center services, performance, and new generation capabilities.

  • Excellent presentation, time management, and collaborating skills.

  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
