Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for all products manufactured in the plant to ensure the fulfillment of the customer\'s expectations in terms of quality, cost, and service. Provides effective support for all plant functions to achieve this goal. Proactively complies with all local, state, federal regulations and all corporate/plant policies, rules, and procedures. Responsibilities: Performs all activities associated with testing the physical and performance attributes of test products. Maintains current knowledge of accepted methods, specifications, standards, and tolerances. Place product that does not meet requirements on hold as needed. Evaluates all products including all test results and any associated information. Makes decisions pertaining to pass, holding, rejecting, dispositioning, and reworking all products and takes appropriate action. Communicate to the appropriate personnel when product samples do not meet requirements. Responsible for accurate and thorough recording of all data and information related to quality. Enter product testing/results into a computer system. Responsible for complete upkeep and maintenance of these records. Responsible for the day-to-day working conditions in the lab.
