Scope of Responsibilities:\ Perform a variety of skilled and/or semi-skilled maintenance and construction work and manual tasks as directed on an accelerated program.

• Receives work assignments from supervisor and reviews work steps with supervisor when necessary.
• Complies with recommended safety procedures and guidelines at all times, including wearing proper safety equipment.
• Reports possible problems in the facilities, grounds, or any other area related to the Utility, based on observations while completing other work orders.
• Reports unsafe and/or hazardous conditions immediately.
• Cleans tools and equipment and returns to proper storage area.
• Keeps all work sites in a neat orderly manner including storage areas.
• Completes a maintenance job report, daily, and on each job worked.
• Assures that all materials purchased or from stock are recorded and processed correctly.
• Performs skilled tasks in accordance with standard practices to include preventive maintenance, construction, and repair of facilities and grounds.
• Follows established work procedures and practices.
• Follows safety practices and guidelines at all times, including wearing proper personal protective/safety equipment due to possible exposure to hazardous chemicals, flammable liquids, biological hazards, toxic/flammable compressed gases and confined spaces.
• Undertakes any reasonable request within capabilities that is for the good of the community and the utility.
