JOB TITLE: Technician II - Service

POSITION SUMMARY

The servicing of AE HiTek power supply product range. The service must meet the unit specification and workmanship standards, utilizing a range of specialist and general equipment to investigate and diagnose faults, carry out rectification work and then measure and test, fault find the final assemblies and sub assemblies

SKILLS

Evaluating units, investigating and diagnosing fault conditions down to component level.

Prioritising and planning your work in order to meet output targets.

Utilising SAP to place orders for spare parts and components to carry out rectification/repair work to units.

Carrying out modifications/rectifications and rework to units.

Building test jigs, boxes or loads as required, or to simulate customer applications.

Maintaining and repairing test equipment.

Responding to customer queries.

Conducting FA investigations on units to enable Quality to compile a Fault Analysis Investigation report

Using the SAP RMA System to progress and updated all service work

Ensuring that the Company’s Quality Management System and Health and Safety Policy are adopted and observed at all times.

Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Environmental Policy and Environmental Management System procedures which are especially applicable to the following process areas – COSHH (the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), waste disposal, including hazardous waste, energy and water conservation and paper conservation.

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Previous experience on high voltage power supplies..

  • Must have the ability to read, understand & identify issues with circuit drawings
