Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is seeking a Replenishment Planner to spearhead the management and replenishment of parts inventories for DISH Network products across our National Retail facilities. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reconciling receipts to purchase orders, accurately tracking part costs, and maintaining an optimal level of working capital. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the availability of inventory within the National Retail supply chain to meet desired device sales and customer activation targets. Collaborating closely with supply chain, buyers, and Business Operations managers, you will focus on process improvements in planning, transaction accuracy, and inventory control. Your strategic insights will contribute to tracking and minimizing write-offs resulting from part changes or discontinuations within National Retail accounts. Additionally, you will provide valuable support to cross-functional teams and projects, troubleshooting and correcting issues related to data, reports, and process flows. As a Replenishment Planner, you will have the opportunity to implement ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing overall processes. Key Responsibilities:
Run DISH MRP tools to manage desired inventory levels (In Stock percentages) of devices to support National Retail customer demand against a provided forecast
Provide production consumption and forecast information to internal customers, and external suppliers to improve efficiencies
Ensure orders from National Retail accounts are valid and will replenish inventory required to keep store in stocks to desired levels as well as maintain sales at the National Retail locations
Work with third party distribution warehouse to ensure National Retail orders are fulfilled on time and in full
Work with the supply chain to manage lifecycle of devices and introduce new products in the National Retail distribution supply chain
Maintain supply plan for National Retail account that drives device purchases through DISH MRP tools
Represent the Retail Wireless Replenishment Planning department in project meetings to implement any changes required; can express the needs of the dept. effectively and takes ownership in project implementation/representation
Develop strong ties with internal customers, National Retail external customers and planners at the site level, and all DISH Wireless departments involved with material planning (Retail Wireless Supply Chain, Distribution, National Retail Sales)
Strong system and process understanding; able to procure, plan, and schedule material delivery to accurately reflect needs in DISH MRP tools
Work on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and other reference material; improve application of system software to maximize the information provided to the users within the department
Train planning personnel on using National Retail tools and transactions
Can troubleshoot minor as well as more complex problems for Material Planning
Resolve issues with system data, MRP not driving correctly or pulling incorrect information
Assist in system set ups that may not be correct to drive materials more effectively
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree required with a focus in industrial engineering, math, statistics, operations or supply chain management
Minimum 3 years operations experience required, including 1 year in purchasing/procurement
0 - 2 years telecommunications experience desired
Oracle ERP experience preferred
APICS/ ISM Certification a plus
Skills and Qualification:
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently
Have strong analytical skills and be able to make informed decisions
Excellent record keeping / documentation skills
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel
Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills are required
Strong Financial and Operational Analyst Skills required
Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills are required
Proficient in other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with Oracle or other inventory management/replenishment system
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,375.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
