ZF Active Safety US Inc. has job openings for the position of Software Engineer -- Requirements/Architecture based out of its location in Livonia, MI.
*Job Duties: * Development of the software architecture of electronic braking systems taking account of Automotive SPICE, of functional safety in accordance with ISO26262 and other topics with architectural influence (e.g. AUTOSAR); Modeling of the dynamic behavior of the software (Task Scheduling, multi-core); Analysis of requirements, in particular of the safety requirements, on the software, derive architectural design and manufacture of a traceability between requirements and architecture model; Maintenance and extension of the meta-model for software architecture; and Regular exchange with the other levels of the system architecture and software development departments.

*Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a software engineer, IT analyst, systems engineer, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience with: Automotive software development or system engineering; Embedded C; aSPICE; ISO26262; Software life cycle; Rhapsody; DOORs; PTC Integrity; and Software architecture modeling.
