Aerotek Operator in Lockport, New York
Description:
-Ensure all jobs to be laminated are done in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the least amount of scrap and downtime occur
-Also paying strict attention to the elimination of defects and substandard quality issues
-This position requires working with hazardous waste with proper PPE’s which may include but is not limited to still bottoms, waste solvent, waste ethyl acetate solution from laminators, solvent soaked waste paper towels, and waste plate wash solution
-There will be company training provided for this during on-boarding then annually thereafter.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Work with the supervisor to make sure the most efficient speed and order of jobs is maintained
• Make sure all materials are in place before starting up
• Make sure there is sufficient adhesive in the drums to run through the shift
• Stage materials near the unwinds for easy access
• Make sure your questions are answered before putting job in laminator or bringing materials to the machine
