Philips Continuous Improvement Expert in Lodz, Poland
In this role, you have the opportunity to drive performance improvement in a wide range of business areas within Philips. Depending on the type of assignment, the Continuous Improvement Expert will adopt a number of different roles, including guide, coach, analyst, trainer or change manager. In all situations, the Continuous Improvement Expert challenges and leads by example.
You are responsible for
Delivering impactful results tied to Business priorities through the application of Lean methodologies, along with sustainable behavioral change to ensure long term competitive advantage
Driving and executing business strategies and improvement projects by working with key stakeholders from various internal partners
Providing training and coaching as required by the internal partner organizations
Coaching team members and management on the consistent Lean behaviors
Deploying Daily Management and Problem Solving according to the Philips standard with the aim to drive business performance, building on the experience gained with GBS.
You are a part of
the Continuous Improvement as a Service (CIaaS) team within the Global Business Services organization in Łódź. You will report to the GBS Functional Services Leader for Continuous Improvement. The CIaaS team provides Continuous Improvement support to both internal GBS teams as well as to non-GBS teams within Philips, with the intent to improve processes and ultimately provide more value to our customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering required with at least 10 years relevant working experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) within large/complex organizations or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering required with at least 15 years relevant working experience with Continuous Improvement (Lean and/or Six Sigma) within large/complex organizations
Proficient in speaking and writing Business English
Passionate about Lean and Continuous Improvement
Possess the ability to influence, inspire and enthuse others
Able to self-reflect and willing to constantly learn
Capable of connecting to others at multiple levels of the organization, from Team Members on the work floor to Executive Managers
Able to work in a challenging, constantly changing international environment
Extensive training & coaching experience
Project Management skills
Change Management skills
