CRIC Temporary Refugee Resettlement Case Manager in LOGAN, Utah

Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection's case managers connect refugees, asylees, immigrants, and other displaced persons to employment, health, and social service resources in the community, with the goal of helping them become self-sufficient.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide case management services to refugees, asylees, immigrants, and other displaced persons. Services include: assistance with housing referrals, applications, coordinating medical appointments, inter-agency referrals, orientation/client education, school enrollments, employment placement, interpretation and translation, and citizenship and naturalization etc.
  • Help improve the potential for greater self-sufficiency and integration in the state of Utah
  • Partner with other social service organizations to locate resources for clients
  • Maintain detailed case file documentation and case notes
  • Assist with preparation of grant reports
  • Ensure consistent reporting of program outcomes
  • Coordinate with volunteers, partners, and other staff to assist clients
  • Attend outreach activities and events
  • DWS professional development training classes

Required Qualifications

  • Strong English language ability
  • Degree or equivalent experience in social work, psychology, or related field
  • Sensitive to the needs of diverse cultural communities
  • Able to maintain client confidentiality
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Capable of working independently
  • Computer proficient, including Google applications
  • Willing to meet clients outside the office, such as at government offices, places of employment, or in their homes
  • Must have reliable transportation and automobile insurance
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (proof required upon hire)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with refugee social service programs
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Experience with refugee resettlement work

Position Details

  • Full time, $20/hour, non-exempt position
  • Collaborative and flexible culture
  • Monday to Friday; Flexible work schedule
  • Hybrid (but local) work available; approximately 50% in-office time required in Logan, UT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 -- 40 per week
