Are you a seasoned Marketing & Communications professional with a passion for driving global brand success? Sulzer Services is thrilled to announce a newly created position for a dynamic Global Marketing & Communications Manager. Lead our Turbomachinery Services (TS) Product Line and shape our global positioning in the competitive world of steam, gas, aeroderivative turbine, and compressor services.
This is a remote position, ideally based in the EMEA region, with a requirement for global travel.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive global Marketing & Communications strategy, enhancing our value proposition, positioning, and key messages across all channels.
As an individual contributor you will work with business development, engineering, sales, and regional marketing teams to create compelling sales and marketing collateral.e
Conduct research to integrate global customer, category, competitor, and market insights, driving strategic decisions.
Set objectives and metrics for global campaigns, overseeing creative development and execution.
Develop a global social media strategy together with regional teams, ensuring content resonates across platforms and cultures.
Manage global campaign budgets, from planning to tracking and reporting.
Plan and coordinate Sulzer's participation in international trade shows and events to showcase our services and generate leads.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Relevant experience in industrial B2B marketing and communications, preferably in the turbine/compression market or a complex engineering/manufacturing sector.
Expertise in managing a modern marketing mix, including digital and offline channels.
Must possess experience in overseeing a multifaceted marketing department, demonstrating proficiency in managing remote teams and achieving successful outcomes in a remote work environment.
Proven ability to build and position a brand globally.
Successful track record in designing and executing global marketing strategies for international B2B companies.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and SharePoint; experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce is advantageous.
Must be able to extract and translate specialized knowledge from highly technical teams and subject matter experts into clear, compelling, and marketable content.
Analytical skills for global market research and competitive analysis.
Creative mindset for leading global concept development and content creation.
Experience in budgeting and tracking global marketing campaigns.
Ability to develop and implement effective global social media strategies.
Strong organizational skills for planning international events.
