We’re looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer based out of our Lomondgate site.

What you’ll do:
Support due diligence of the numerous technical elements of the product, technical product comparison, and uses of technology, applications
Knowledge of system interfaces, including communication methods and protocols
Assistance with Technology Prospecting - State of the Art (Knowledge of Market Competitors/Vendors)
Assisting with SAT and FAT for the products by participating in testing at vendor locations and at various depot locations
Understand the standards for different regions
Creating document templates for processes
Simulation on Power Factory and MATLAB
Technical Modelling and Simulation for new units for events or project work in transactional space
Aggreko standard documentation creation
Assessment of infant care issues for the BESS products
Support on Test and Validation of product while they are arriving fresh in Aggreko or coming back from a transaction to depot
Support on controls development for BESS and respective testing
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Self-driven with strong communication and people skills
You will be interested in learning about Battery Energy Storage Systems, Li-Ion batteries, Inverters, Control Systems, communication and Interfaces, Power Electronics, etc.
You will have a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
You will be able to work under pressure
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of business processes and high working standards and a drive for continuous improvement
