5 days in office with occasional field visits.

Overview:
The Senior Executive Support Analyst is a crucial team member within Global Tech, providing high-quality, personalized technical support for C-Suite executives at News Corp’s London-based divisions, including News UK, Dow Jones, and HarperCollins. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, confidentiality, and technical expertise to resolve issues swiftly and build trusting relationships with executive users.
Key Responsibilities:
● Direct Technical Support for C-Suite Executives:
○ Deliver prompt and discreet technical support for executives, focusing on speed, problem-solving, and confidentiality.
○ Prioritize requests to address urgent issues promptly, working collaboratively with teammates and management.
● Efficient Communication and Relationship Building:
○ Maintain transparent communication with executives and their teams regarding the status of planned and unplanned technical work.
○ Foster strong, trusting relationships with executive teams by managing expectations and providing reliable support.
● Liaison and Escalation Management:
○ Act as the primary liaison between executives and the technical support teams, ensuring a seamless escalation process when issues require additional support.
○ Ensure a seamless communication handoff to the Service Desk or other support staff when directing tasks.
● Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
○ Document workflows and procedures, recording technical issues and solutions to build a referenceable history of support decisions and actions.
○ Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices and technical insights to foster a collaborative environment.
● Policy and Security Compliance:
○ Maintain current knowledge of Global Tech’s security policies and technology standards, ensuring all solutions are compliant and secure.
○ Stay up-to-date on the company’s organizational structure, including key users and their technology needs.
● Meeting and Event Support:
○ Provide technical support for key meetings, ensuring room setup and technology function smoothly, and manage any issues calmly and effectively.
● Proactive Learning and Trend Monitoring:
○ Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and best practices to offer alternative solutions and continuously improve executive support.
Qualifications:
● Customer Service Expertise:
○ Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service with a calm, solution-oriented approach to challenging support situations.
● Education and Certifications:
○ Formal education in a technical discipline preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL V3 Foundation, Microsoft Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
○ Practical experience with tools like RemedyForce and JIRA, or equivalent Service Management platforms, is advantageous.
● Technical Proficiency:
○ Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting top-level executives in a corporate setting.
○ Expertise in managing Active Directory, Google Workspace, MS Office, Windows, and Mac environments, with a sound understanding of networking.
○ Extensive experience with Android and iOS devices, along with their OS environments.
● Soft Skills and Team Collaboration:
○ Excellent interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written, verbal, and face-to-face communication within both Technology and business settings.
○ A proactive, flexible team player who is highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to deliver exceptional executive support.
