POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Sales Director and a dotted line to the VP GM of the cluster you will be responsible for the management and development of all the salon business (Aveda). This will include both the UK North & South regions (Aveda), E-salons, Ireland indirect distribution business (distributor model), LSS General Manager (Owned Flagship Salon of Aveda).

You will achieve agreed targets through effective communication, development and implementation of strategic plans in salon channel, commercial launch plans and executional sell through structure and set up the right KPIs and metrics to measure results.

You must have experience in sales and B2B distribution industries, preferably in the professional salon beauty industry. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, strategic mind-set, and aptitude for figures and follow through.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

  • Develop a strategic sales plan for the salon channel by working with the National Sales Manager and Education Manager maximising sales opportunities in the salon channel to deliver (Aveda). Maintaining the current profitability of the channel.

  • Drive the LSS long term turn-around business model, with a newly appointed General Manager and towards improving performance and profitability of the door to be a best in class and inspiration for other salon owners.

  • Develop and maximise opportunities in Ireland through our distributed model.

  • Strategic planning for the brand digital goals. This include achieving brand targets for A-Commerce and Flossie. Creating KPI and working with the Education Manager to upskills the SDPS in their evolved digital roles.

  • Build collaborative relationships with Salon Partners, ensuring they are supported by the brand to achieve sales and sustainable growth.

  • Drive & report the Hair Hero Franchise focus and achieve Brand targets.

  • Drive & report Hair Colour focus and achieve Brand targets.

  • Ensure Salon channel Target and KPIs are met.

  • National Forecasting of sales and stock to create a strong sell in/sell through plan throughout the year in line with Aveda sales targets.

  • Forecast and adjust the Salon plan where needed to meet the needs of the business.

  • To monitor and forecast salon performance and submit learnings.

  • Develop and implement national activities tailored to each salon group to maximise business potential.

  • Negotiate and close agreements with top tier salon, along with the National Sales Manager.

  • Represent Aveda and Bumble at Webinars and Network events as the Head of the Salon division.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE

National Sales Managers:

  • Implement Coaching & development for National Sales Manager and their direct reports (SDPs).

  • Monthly reviews with National Sales Managers on individual salon performance by area.

  • Jointly run SDP sales meeting with National Sales Managers.

  • Quarterly PDP reviews with direct team.

  • To continually review National sales Manager performance, identify strengths and development area within the field team.

  • Monthly performance reports and reviews with Sales Director.

  • Responsible for salon channel FOC and return monthly budgets.

New Business

  • Ensuring new business brand target is achieved and grows to a total sale of 10% MOB

  • Build strategies and sales plans for new salons.

  • Responsible for the VM annual budget and work with COE to implement.

  • Complete regular competitor research and reporting to gain market advantage.

Communication

  • Dive Brand image by working with top salons on Visual Merchandising.

  • Attend EMEA Brand Manager in order to share best practice with international brand partners.

  • To provide effective communication and strong working relationships with direct/ indirect team along with the Aveda salon network.

  • To ensure effective communication and co-ordinated activity between Marketing, Education, PR, Online, Creative, Visual merchandising and Sales.
