Why this role matters
In this role, you will have responsibility for executing and coordinating a range of workstreams in the planning, execution, and delivery of Fleet Transformation projects through all specific phases, in alignment with overall BT strategies and contractual requirements. This includes tasks such as developing project & programme plans, managing budgets, and ensuring that project and programmes are completed on time and within budget.
What you'll be doing
Work with a cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end transformational projects contributing to commercial benefit
Monitor issue escalations, project and programme risks, dependencies and project changes, ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders.
Consult on complex projects/ programmes using advanced technical knowledge driving through execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation.
Support project/ programme communication with stakeholders with timely reporting on performance and where decision making is required.
Define, document and execute projects, agreeing and reviewing project approach, engagement and communications plans, and quality and performance criteria with project partners.
Support business case development and experienced with governance & contract assurance.
Mentors other Project/Programme Management & PMO professionals, helping to improve the team’s abilities by acting as a technical resources.
Proactively identify and manage risk through regular assessment and diligent execution of controls and mitigations.
Ensure commercial obligations, risks and interdependencies defined within external delivery contracts are applied to their projects/programmes and operates the project/programme governance to manage those elements.
The skills you'll need
Experience in project and programme management
Strong understanding of project and programme management principles and practices
Experience in delivering organisational transformational projects and programmes
Experience in business case development, governance and assurance
Experience working in a fast-paced and complex environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
