Key job responsibilities

-You will hire net new partners (entrepreneurs) by taking them through the recruitment processes

-You will refine the value proposition of the program as per the experience on the ground.

-You will improve the recruitment processes to hire the right partners to the program.

-You will maintain a high level of engagement from our customer (partners) and proactively identify the challenges they are facing.

-You will continuously improve the way we engage with partners and the services we provide to increase quality and efficiency.

-You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio.

-You will be the voice of the partner during the recruitment process

-You will identify and lead new projects or initiatives to solve partner pain points and improve partner experience.

A day in the life

We are looking to hire a Business Developer, responsible for unlocking and growing our Partner portfolio through sales development, relationship building, engagement activities and great customer experience.

About the team

Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience delivering Lean/Six Sigma projects such as Kaizens, Greenbelts, and continuous improvement initiatives, this should include needs assessment, business case creation, scope definition, project planning and project implementation

  • Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline

  • German fluent skills
