Description
As a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager at Amazon, you’ll be an expert in deep diving into our business data and presenting it in a clear, useful way. You’ll use it to help teams across our logistics function make lasting improvements and remain ambitious and inventive. This role will give you plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and use your expertise to drive efficiency across Amazon. You will need to excel in cross team collaboration, stakeholder management, Amazon document writing and leading successful idea presentation and implementation at the highest level.
Key job responsibilities
Build, present and implement Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) growth strategy
Build partner profitability models and scenarios beyond core capacity growth
Create flex demand allocation tenets and hold operations accountable to deliver the plan
Build a tractor utilization management model and identify opportunities to improve tractor utilization
Analyse data around KPIs to generate forward looking plans to present to senior stakeholders in the Operations business
Build visualisation tools and dashboards to analyse and create reports for your team to drive action around KPIs
Create or improve internal dashboards that give your colleagues better visibility of task-related data

Using your invent and simplify and think big skills along with data analysis, you’ll explore the next stage of AFP growth and program design, collaborating cross functionally and presenting your ideas in well structured documents and analysis.
You will use your business acumen and analytic skills to help your team achieve their objectives. You’ll use data to illustrate problems and share your opinion and ideas to help find solutions. Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Basic Qualifications
A bachelor's degree
Proven experience working in an analytical role, driving business strategy and growth using strategy, operational knowledge, and analytical skills
Relevant experience in analysing large data sets, data quality, and data warehousing to identify improvement opportunities
Relevant experience creating dashboards using Excel, SQL, Quicksight and visualisation tools
Preferred Qualifications
-Advanced or master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems or another technical field
-Experience in working with Operational, Supply Chain or Logistics teams
Tableau/SQL/Python/VBA/Power BI
