JOB PURPOSE
E-commerce is the fastest growing channel for the consumer goods industry, and it is essential that we have the right skills and team in place to capitalise on this momentum at Unilever. This major growth channel requires someone with hands on, marketing expertise to plan and execute across all our e-commerce platforms, with a focus on Amazon. This role will be accountable to deliver and drive real change on the ground, and impact globally.
This is a crucial role in the team with the aim to accelerate the e-commerce growth globally in HC – partnering with our brands and markets every step of the way.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Strategy and Change:
Be an advocate for e-Commerce media and performance marketing within the division HC Business Group in HC, alongside brand and local markets, from strategy to execution
Influence senior Managers and choice makers, including presenting media strategies and building test & learn opportunities that drive improvement in KPIs
Identify performance gaps and opportunities across all markets to help and drive growth through media strategies
Identify new tools, technologies and partners to drive acceleration in e-Commerce
UK Amazon Execution:
Create UK Amazon media performance strategy and execute the plan to deliver the sales target in an accelerated way, alongside agency partners
Take ownership in all areas of day-to-day campaign management from campaign execution (constructing a media plan and buying ad space) to optimisation and analysis – reporting including post campaign performance reviews and QBRs as well as financial management
Interact regularly with the local brand teams and senior management to help in their goals.
Global Growth:
Develop the Amazon B2B media strategy and execute the plan across the EU5
Maintain and develop agency relationships with current and new media partners; evaluate new media opportunities
Upskill local e-commerce team

Technical experience that would benefit this role:
Experience in media activation on platforms such as Criteo & Citrus Ads and a knowledge of Amazon (Search & DSP)
Analytically minded, with the ability to identify trends within data sets
Experience of Digital planning and buying of Display and Search media
FMCG, Retail, E-Commerce/Shopper Marketing and Direct Response experience
Thorough the knowledge of various types of media - specific, but not limited to Programmatic, Social, Display, Social, Influencer, eCommerce, and Video
Awarness of the Amazon Advertising ecosystem is desirable
Keen interest in Retail Media and keeping up with new trends and solutions

Location
In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.
Relocation to the UK
