Insurance Credit Controller – Aviation

Job Location: - London

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Insurance Credit Controller based in London.

The Credit Controller supports the entire AR process across the global Aviation business, conducting collections, ensuring that aged debt is managed effectively, and DSO targets are achieved. You will build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, consistently looking for ways to improve process and increase automation.

You will have the gravitas and confidence to work closely with the operational leadership team, the aviation global teams and identify areas to add value and ensure first-class service.. This role will also involve taking the lead on complex or sensitive query resolution, working with clients, brokers and underwriters.

This is an exciting new role and will be broad, challenging and rewarding. The position is be office based but you will be able to take advantage of our flexible working arrangements and will involve travel to other office locations as required. This is a real opportunity to make an impact and drive changes and improvements in this recently established team to create a first-class function with the support of the Operational and Finance leadership.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Strong credit control experience including working knowledge of aviation insurance market collections.

  • ECF (electronic claims file) experience is essential.

  • Able to work to targets, be self-motivated, focused & assertive.

  • Ability to communicate at a senior level.

  • Capacity to manage & prioritise an extensive workload, particularly at month end cycles.

  • A working knowledge of Excel is essential

  • Demonstrate high degree of problem solving

  • Positive and tenacious attitude and can do behaviour with strong accountability
