ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST – UK

CBRE Investment Management is now looking for an Analyst to join their professional Logistics Asset Management team and support the platform growth in the UK, with base in London.

THE ROLE

As an Analyst you will participate in the growing Logistics Asset Management activities in the UK in connection within our wider EMEA business. The position will primarily involve working alongside with and providing analytical support to the Asset Management Team.

For the role, CBRE Investment Management is looking for a person with strong analytical skills, a genuine interest in real estate and in working in a pan-European business, and who understands the real estate investment value chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Data collection and update on an ongoing basis to ensure data accuracy for all criteria around the assets;

  • Financial investment modelling of lettings cases.

  • Managing quarterly reporting as required by the program teams using internal system.

  • Collect assumptions from Asset Management Director to prepare budgets to be approved.

  • Interact with Property Managers, Accountants and Technical Directors to prepare annual budgets (OPEX).

  • Preparing reports relating to investments to be presented to either internal or external stakeholders (Investment Committees, Investors or Tenant presentations, etc…).

  • Supporting ESG initiatives, including data collection and analyses, budgeting and implementation of upgrading works.

  • Responsible for preparing documentation and collecting data in sale processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SUITABLE BACKGROUND

  • University degree preferably in real estate or finance

  • Up to 2 years relevant full-time work experience

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point.

  • Communication skills in English plus another language would be optimal, both written and spoken.

  • High personal drive, a willingness to deliver high quality with commitment and dedication and to grow quickly

  • Great interpersonal skills, willingness and drive to form part of a dynamic team.
