Senior Specialist, Field Marketing UKI

Reporting to the UK Field Marketing Director, you will be enjoying the best of two worlds with one foot in the UK business team, and the other in the fast growing EMEA Marketing team. The role is strongly aligned to sales success, if you have a background in sales that will definitely strengthen your case.

Keys to this position include; understanding how to implement measurable and impactful marketing programs, managing projects from idea and creation through implementation and follow up, and having strong communication skills that allow you to communicate the value of your work to sales and marketing functions.

  • Influencing and implementing the regional marketing plan, in a project management style, with the purpose to drive, progress and convert pipeline

  • Clear communication around follow up and measurements of programs to business teams

  • Plan, drive and implement selected EMEA wide virtual programmes to support English language countries

  • Drive own marketing projects, as additions to- and in alignment with existing marketing plan

  • Work closely with the rest of the EMEA marketing team to support the common goal of delivering pipe generation campaigns

Requirements

Experience in and passion for Field Marketing is essential. You understand the opportunities and challenges to successfully sell, market, and grow enterprise software, and are used to working collaboratively across organizations to bring multiple resources to bear for customer impact.

  • 2-3 years of experience and understanding from a similar, project based field marketing role in a matrix environment, preferably in the enterprise software space

  • Project leadership skills with an attention to details

  • Well versed within the different tactics used in the region to attract our target audience

  • Data driven marketing mentality, and good experience working hands on with Marketo and Salesforce to implement demand generation programs and measuring their effectiveness, optimizing the follow-up process and post event comms / visibility to sales teams

  • A teammate who has partnered with sales and marketing teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. As we work across EMEA, any additional languages is an advantage

  • Solution oriented personality with a can-do attitude

Base Pay Range

United Kingdom

Base Pay: GBP 50,400.00 - 69,300.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
