Key job responsibilities

We are seeking a Solutions Architect who can consult with new and existing publishers to improve their programmatic web and mobile infrastructures.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a key technical liaison for Amazon Publisher Services’ customers

  • Partner closely with business and account teams as a technical consultant for custom integrations and solutions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges for our customers

  • Champion new product requirements and features for development

  • Identify short and long-term product opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to customers

A day in the life

The Solutions Architect team at APS plays a key role in integrating our header bidding technology and related products with our web and mobile publishing partners worldwide. This team provides essential services and technical support to publishers, ensuring smooth implementation and optimal performance of our solutions. Solutions Architects also collaborate closely with our internal product and engineering teams, acting as subject matter experts to champion new product requirements and features, enhancing our offerings based on real-world insights and client needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

  • Experience with scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell)

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies or experience with Android or iOS mobile SDK

  • Experience troubleshooting with network debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Burp Suite or Wireshark

  • Experience communicating technical concepts to external business and technical audiences

  • Experience with ad tech and related technologies such as Google Ad Manager, OAS, Adtech, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with header bidding technologies

  • Knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and networking

  • Experience with common content publishing tools like WordPress

  • Development experience with JavaScript, Python, PHP or other scripting languages

  • An interest in the business behind the products we develop
