Our team of game industry veterans is developing and publishing live service AAA multiplayer games and developing original IPs, including New World, with our studios and teams in Seattle, Orange County, San Diego, and Montreal. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our EU Publishing team at Amazon Games. This is a new role and will have global responsibility for launching a new IP into a cross-channel AAA franchise. This role will have a high level of interaction with our external development studio, publishing and creative teams, as well as our senior leadership group.

You will collaborate with the development studio and cross functional marketing and publishing to build long term roadmaps and cross channel franchise plans. You will own the global go-to-market strategy and plans to launch new game IP, reach targeted KPI goals including those associated with consumer awareness, user acquisition, sales, retention, and with a long-term view on the brand. Success in this role requires a deep knowledge of launching AAA games and a drive for success through collaboration.

You are someone who enjoys finding creative solutions, thinking big and innovating. You are comfortable working across teams and stakeholders to drive alignment. You already have experience in building successful marketing campaigns and are excited to shape the future of and build IP and Games as cross media entertainment.

Key job responsibilities

• Product and brand marketing leader for externally developed racing game – working with development teams, studio marketing and creative to define brand truth, franchise roadmaps, marketing goals, marketing strategy, positioning, and IP guidebooks.

• Lead cross functional product marketing effort on game collaborating with product management, community, regional marketing, creative, growth marketing and PR to deliver and execute launch plans against KPIs for awareness, brand demand, acquisition, and month 1 retention.

• Partner with customer insights team to understand global audiences, trends and growth opportunities and deliver insights for development team to guide product for commercial success.

• Work with partnerships team to build brand through appropriate partnerships

• Collaborate with creative dev, narrative and dev studios to develop cross media IP to extend and build brand.

• Owns marketing budget in collaboration with franchise lead.

• Responsible for communication mechanisms across team and removing blockers and fostering innovation. Owns analysis and reporting on marketing activity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops)

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in marketing or marketing research

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in inter-team working skills to develop partnership with partner, tech team and operating at leadership levels

  • Knowledge of Gen Z media habits and curiosity to understand new trends

  • Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
