About our Team

This Senior Agile Delivery Manager will be joining Elsevier’s Submissions Engineering team. Playing a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of strategic technology programmes while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with the Technology teams and Product to ensure that their work is appropriately prioritized, inter team dependencies are managed and Agile metrics are in place to support delivery.

About the Role

Managing the Agile Delivery for 2+ (new or established) squads and can realize a strategic vision for agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Driving the team towards efficiency through experimentation and collaboration.

• Applying core agile values and principles to suit the needs of the squads.

• Acting to gather and share metrics around delivery and improvement.

• Enabling the squad to delivery outcomes in the product roadmap by ensuring appropriate environment, metrics visibility and resources.

• Maintaining a balance of Stakeholder and Squad expectations.

Requirements

• Experience in supporting/maintaining multiple teams at any time.

• Show interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

• Able to run agile reports, including custom and complex reports.

• Able to Analyse Agile artifacts.

• Show good conflict resolution and community building skills.
