Citigroup Working Capital Trade Finance Product Manager - Supply Chain Finance - SVP - 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover) in London, United Kingdom

Citi are looking for a maternity cover to join our Trade Payables UK , Europe and MEA Product team as a temporary Maternity cover. The role is likely to give you the leverage you need to accelerate your network and connections to bring forward further opportunities both internally and/or externally.

Team/Role Overview:

The Trade Payables team is a product pillar within the Trade and Working Capital product suite within the Services division at Citi. Our business area focuses on open account trade finance solutions to facilitate trade flows between Buyers and Suppliers globally. Within the Product team we are centre to driving the growth and delivery of the business including working with stakeholders across the entire organisation including; Sales, Implementations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations.

What you’ll do:

The individual will join the Trade Payables product team with a specific focus on managing, growing and driving commercialization for our Payables product suite within EMEA. Core responsibilities:

  • Grow the Trade Payables product book by working in partnership with Sales to run growth initiatives and campaigns.

  • Track the performance of Supply Chain Finance programs globally and work alongside our data team to digitize trends / analysis and with Sales on client opportunities.

  • Launch, commercialize and ramp up additional Payables product suite; Dynamic Discounting, Payables Advance and Purchase Order Financing.

  • Lead market and regulatory changes and analyse the impact to the Payables product suite.

  • Ensure a robust risk and controls environment by streamlining implementation processes and roles & responsibilities across the cluster.

  • Focus on improving client service at every touch point along the life cycle of our programs.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Prior trade finance experience is strongly recommended and knowledge/experience of Supply Chain Finance.

  • Product management skills.

  • Self-motivated and drive to deliver and contribute to a growing business.

  • Ownership for your work and delivery.
