Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with 125 years of history, is seeking Receiving Technician and Laboratory Technician for our Long Beach facility. Responsibilities will include the following:

• Performing various types of materials testing on steel, concrete, and aggregate.
• Assist with sample receiving, entry, and storage.
• Obtaining in-house training on machine safety and test method proficiency.
• Enter samples into our software accurately.
• Creating new work order numbers and entering testing data and billing items.
• Computer data entry.
• Assistance in other departments in the laboratory as needed.
• Help with pickups on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Experience in concrete, soil and rebar testing helpful.
• 1+ years previous experience working with construction materials helpful.
• ACI, NICET, Caltrans certifications helpful.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to work well as both a team player and individual self-starter.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
• Basic computer skills, specifically experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
• Solid communication skills.
• Clean DMV record.
