ELC Beauty LLC Executive Director, Master Data Product Owner in Long Island City, New York

DUTIES: Establish MDM as a scalable and flexible product to rapidly support business use cases and capture targeted value. Define the product vision and create the product roadmap to improve master data maturity and deliver business value. Partner with the Enterprise Data Team and critical business partners to develop a strategy and roadmap for the MDM program. Develop data and governance solutions to highly complex and unique business problems in partnership with business stakeholders and IT partners. Lead the Business Product Owner Committee to capture data issues and/or opportunities, identify business value and prioritize use cases with key stakeholders. Facilitate governance, stewardship, and other stakeholder meetings as necessary to define governance requirements and quality standards. Partner with customers, business partners, business data owners, technical product owners, and organizational leadership to accomplish business outcomes. Represent the stakeholders for project delivery. Represent end-users and champions user stories and corresponding acceptance criteria. Accept and publishes user stories during sprint demos. Utilize metrics and KPIs to track success of Data Products. Oversee and assists in the creation of test scenarios and execution. Coordinate governance implementation timing with data cleansing pre-requisites. Create and facilitate full change management plans when needed due to organizational impacts. Responsible for communications to internal and external stakeholders on progress, status and outcomes. Develop and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements for new or revised features and enhancements. Gather information about upcoming product capabilities and determine how features may address needs in the backlog. Work with business and IT to identify and mitigate risk.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative field and five years of progressively responsible experience as a Manager or related occupation within data management or program management. Experience must include developing and implementing master data management solutions in CPG or Retail environment; Working with senior leaders and leading meetings with cross-functional IT and business leads for project management and governance; Managing cross functional team members across distributed sites; Managing a product backlog and with MVP / release / sprint planning; Applying Scaled Agile and DevOps methodologies; Working within regulatory requirements including CCPA and GDPR; and Communicating the results of complex analysis to non-technical audiences via effective visualizations and presentations. Up to 20% (domestic and international) travel required. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Salary: 169,000 Maximum Salary: 292,500 Salary Unit: Yearly
