Job Title: LifeguardLocation: New York, NYSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (20 hours per week)Due Date: April 10Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hourResponsibilities:Perform lifeguard duties for up to 20 hours per week, primarily during evenings and weekends.Availability may extend to normal business hours (Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.) during school breaks.Flexibility required as schedule is subject to change, determined by the Director of Recreation/Rehabilitation in advance.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum age of 18 years old.Hold a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) from an approved course listed on the NYS CPR fact sheet.CPR certification must be renewed annually, regardless of the expiration date on the card.Lifeguard certification must be valid for up to three (3) years from course completion, with annual CPR re-certification.Certification must be obtained from a NYS approved provider.Note: Refer to the NYC Public Schools calendar for scheduling during school breaks.
