Need 25 full time, temporary, seasonal Graders & Sorters; Agricultural Products to work in Long Prairie, MN. From: 07/20/2024 - 11/01/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day. Normal hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Employer may increase wage rate with verifiable experience and/or provide bonus for exceptional work. ESST Law: Employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours in a year. Must Apply By: 09/11/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Sorting, grading, packaging, and stacking potatoes onto pallets. Keeping work area clean by sweeping floors and disposing of garbage. Crops: Potatoes JOB REQUIREMENTS: (1) month experience; Able to lift 50 lbs.; Exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. All required tools, equipment and supplies will be provided free of charge.
