Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Longboat Key, Florida

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the beautiful location of Longboat Key, Florida. This position will require the handling of all accounting functions within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage all financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments

• Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports

• Handle process accounts payable and receivable as well as manage invoices and tax payments

• Oversee the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain records and prepare reports

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conduct regular ledger maintenance

• Handle some phone-related tasks as needed

• Work with the CPA who will handle audits

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook for various tasks

This role utilizes various skills including proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Billing Functions.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of key accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations

• Knowledge of billing functions is essential

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Associate's degree in accounting or related field is preferred but not mandatory
