Explore cross-stack architectures, optimizations, and tradeoffs across Micron’s systems, software, and device technologies. Focus on multiple layers of the compute stack, including applications, frameworks, operating systems, architectures, and devices. Hypothesize new solutions and analyze performance of real systems, spanning from mobile devices to data centers. Participate in research across Micron’s system product portfolio by collaborating across workload, operating system, architecture, and platform boundaries. Evaluate and drive research opportunities for Micron’s systems portfolio: in-/near-memory computation, workload acceleration, and using new memory technologies. Develop solutions for real systems problems, spanning novel applications software, operating systems, and systems architecture improvements. Monitor and contribute to external research funded by Micron. May telecommute part-time.

Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
