What Impact You'll Make:

As a GE Vernova Summer 2025 Intern – Global Materials Team, you will support our materials management team in the analyzing and monitoring of inventory for our global fulfillment centers. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop materials management skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that drive the future of energy technology.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in analyzing inventory in global warehouses.

  • Support the tracking of software and other materials.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks.

  • Prepare and update material documentation, reports, and presentations.

  • Participate in materials meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.

  • Help identify and mitigate materials risks and issues.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend solutions for efficiency.

Internship Term Dates:

May/June - August 2025

Expected Work Schedule:

Day/1st -Shift (40 - hours weekly)

What You'll Bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (without rounding)

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in supply chain management or similar discipline

  • Must be willing to work in Longmont, CO

Other Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

  • Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business

  • Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in turbine controls or materials management.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergrate/graduate field of study completed

This position is also eligible for:

  • Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.

  • Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

  • Employee Assistance Program , providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services

  • GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
