Nos attentes :

Comme membre de l’équipe hygiène industrielle, concrètement vous devrez participer à l’organisation d’une journée de sensibilisation santé sécurité et hygiène industrielle. Vous aurez également à compléter les évaluations qualitatives d’hygiène industrielle, réviser et élaborer des fiches d’équipements de protections individuelles et participer aux échantillonnages de contaminants (ex : champs électromagnétiques, bruit, poussières, solvants, etc.). Vous aurez à collaborer avec l’équipe environnement et ergonomie dans le cadre de certains projets. Si vous êtes un professionnel capable de travailler de manière autonome et que vous avez une connaissance approfondie de la discipline et de la fonction, nous vous invitons à poser votre candidature.

À quoi ressemblera votre travail quotidien :

• Intervention en usine pour réaliser des analyses de risque en hygiène industrielle et effectuer l’échantillonnage de différents contaminants physiques et chimiques.

• Réaliser des audits (ex : programme de protection respiratoire) ;

• Supporter l’équipe santé sécurité en lien avec le programme d’hygiène industrielle.

Ce dont vous avez besoin pour réussir :

Les incontournables :

• Être éligible à travailler au Canada.

• Être inscrit dans un CEGEP ou une université canadienne pendant toute la durée de votre stage.

• Être en mesure de travailler sur place dans la province où vous êtes embauché, le cas échéant.

• En cours de formation en hygiène industrielle ou toute autre formation collégiale ou universitaire touchant l’environnement ou la santé sécurité.

• Sens de l’initiative, de l’autonomie et débrouillardise

• Grand sens de l’observation

• Excellentes compétences en communication en français (parlé/écrit)

Atouts :

• Habileté à intervenir dans un milieu syndiqué.

• Bonne connaissance technique.

• Habileté à gérer plusieurs projets en même temps.

• Facilité à apprendre les systèmes de gestion informatique.

• Facilité à travailler en équipe.

• Bonne habileté de communication

• Une bonne connaissance de la langue anglaise, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral, est requise pour répondre aux besoins opérationnels de l’employeur et des personnes avec lesquelles le candidat interagira.

Our expectations:

As a member of the industrial hygiene team, you will have to participate in the organization of a health, safety and industrial hygiene awareness day. You will also have to complete qualitative industrial hygiene assessments, revise and develop personal protective equipment sheets and participate in contaminant sampling (eg electromagnetic fields, noise, dust, solvents, etc.). You will have to collaborate with the environment and the ergonomics team on certain projects. If you are a professional who can work independently and have a deep understanding of the discipline and function, we invite you to apply.

What your day to day will look like:

• Factory intervention to carry out risk analyzes in industrial hygiene and to sample various physical and chemical contaminants.

• Carry out audits (e.g. respiratory protection program);

• Support the health and safety team in connection with the industrial hygiene program.

What you need to be successful:

Must haves:

• Be eligible to work in Canada

• Be enrolled in a Canadian CEGEP or university throughout your internship

• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable

• In the process of obtaining industrial hygiene diploma or any other college or university study relating to the Environment or health and safety

• Sens of initiative, autonomy and problem-solving person

• Great sense of observation

• Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written)

Assets:

• Ability to intervene in a unionized environment.

• Good technical knowledge.

• Ability to manage multiple projects.

• Good ability to learn computer management systems.

• Ability to work as a team.

• A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact.
