Kelly Services CNC Swiss Machinist in Longwood, Florida
Kelly Services is currently seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist in Longwood, FL. As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision parts. Pay rate: $25-$32/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm and Friday's 7:00am - 1:00pm.

Temp to hire
Responsibilities:
Load and unload raw materials onto CNC lathes.
Utilize gages and measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
Use hand tools and cutting tools effectively and safely.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce setup and machining time.
Inspect completed work using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, and rulers.
Clean and perform daily/preventative maintenance on CNC machines.
Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to AS9100 requirements and safety procedures.
Provide feedback and input for process improvement initiatives.
Train and mentor newer employees on manufacturing processes and procedures.
Perform geometry, tool wear offsets, and program edits as needed.
Comply with all quality policies and instructions.
Track and record job progress and deficiencies in written and electronic formats.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist.
Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
Strong understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring tools.
Proficient knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code.
Ability to independently set up and operate lathes.
Self-sufficiency and ability to work with minimal assistance.
Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Programmer experience required
