Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to support a DoD program based out of Lorton, VA. We're building a dynamic engineering team with a real-world cyber mission focus. Seeking candidates who are highly motivated to put their knowledge into play developing, deploying and maintaining advanced, complex operational networks. Our client can pay $65-$90/hr. Job responsibilities include:
* Front-end Development.
* Implementing and optimizing the user interface components of the application.
* Ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across various devices and platforms.
* Transitioning, modernizing, and sustaining the main code base of the application.
* Collaborating to implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and address any technical debt to ensure the application meets evolving mission requirements.
* Completing transitioning activities to include requirement reviews and assessments, backlog reviews, documentation review, development environment and tooling standup.
* Supporting demonstrations at sprint and product increment reviews.

Skills and Requirements
* Active Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent
* 8+ years of experience in software, application and system development (In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating skills in software development, data analysis, and software testing and troubleshooting)
* Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, HTMLS, C++, Java, SQL, PHP
* Knowledge of system frameworks including .NET, Git, Angular JS and GitHub
* Experience with mobile app development
* Experience creating and maintaining databases
* Experience working with Agile development technologies
* Advanced project management skills and good interpersonal skills null
