Insight Global Control Systems Engineer II in Los Alamitos, California
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their team to support water/wastewater, material handling, and life science automation projects.
Responsibilities:
Design UL 508A/698-compliant control panels.
Select field devices and create instrument data sheets.
Develop software logic, including I/O configuration and network diagrams.
Interface with stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Provide training on control system implementation and operation.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of design/control system programming experience.
Proficiency in Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View) and other platforms (Schneider Electric, Ignition, GE, Siemens).
B.S. degree in engineering/computer science - Proficiency in the design and programming of Schneider Electric PLC/visualization platforms (M340/580, Momentum, Quantum) is a plus.
Proficiency in the design and programming of other PLC/DCS/visualization platforms (Ignition, GE, Siemens, Delta V) is a plus.
Experience in VMWare/virtualization is a plus. null
