Audacy Account Executive in Los Angeles, California

Overview

Our Audacy team in Southern California is looking for a dynamic sales professional, based in Los Angeles, who is truly one of the BEST. You will have the opportunity to represent a multi-media, multi-platform portfolio that includes six (6) exceptional over-the-air brands, streaming, the second largest podcast network in the world, extensive digital marketing assets including OTT, unique sponsorship opportunities, an e-commerce platform and original content (video/audio).

In addition to our local outreach and extensive reach nationwide, you will have access to sell on a national level, across all 50 states, and be handsomely compensated for it!Audacy offers an attractive base salary plus commission and potential bonus compensation.

Our ideal candidate is an Account Executive that is self-motivated, driven, creative, curious, solutions-oriented, tenacious, adaptable, detail-oriented, money-motivated, and runs their business with an ownership mindset. The ideal person for this role should already have an array of successful business relationships to speak proudly about.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Audacy - Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Primary focus will be to proactively develop new business and build strong relationships with local/regional decision-makers, with the goal of converting them to repeat clients

  • Create strategic and creative multi-platform, multi-channel advertising campaigns that leverage the broad reach of over-the-air audio, streaming, targeted digital solutions, killer lifestyle events, and e-commerce

  • Bring innovative marketing ideas to life that make a difference for your clients and their businesses, while also having the ability to sell on a national level within all 50 states

  • Continuously learn and train on new assets and marketing techniques

  • Close business and oversee the execution of the marketing campaign and exceed client expectations

  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the campaign lifecycle

  • Achieve sales objectives and assigned goals

  • Continuously build your knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1-5 years of experience in media sales (broadcast radio and digital media preferred)

  • A hunter mentality with the ability to proactively generate new business and manage the full sales cycle, with a proven track record of exceeding goals and renewing business

  • Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing, especially in digital, audio, and interactive

  • A creative and strategic mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs

  • A solutions and goal-oriented mindset – you’re someone who identifies a problem as an opportunity to develop business.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office programs, SalesForce, Media Monitors, Xray, Nielsen, Google Analytics, Google Ads (SEM), Facebook Ads

  • A positive attitude and a desire to continuously grow your income

  • Ability to be in-person in our Los Angeles office for a minimum of 3 days per week (Tues-Thurs)

  • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check. If the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting base salary range for California-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $50,000.00 to $75,000.00plus commission. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
