Description
A growing company Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team! The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in managing vendor payments, invoice processing, and overall financial reporting. This job necessitates a high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This position is fully onsite and is a contract role.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable for business transactions, which includes verifying transactions, reconciliation of invoices, and payment processing.
Collaborate with departments and suppliers to ensure timely payment and resolve any arising issues.
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
Enhance and streamline procedures to improve efficiency in processing vendor payments and financial reports.
Support monthly closing of financial records and participate in audits as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations and internal policies.
Assist with other finance related tasks as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
At minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
