We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst based in Los Angeles, California. The role involves analyzing business systems and working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements. The position is instrumental in ensuring smooth software development life cycle processes and effective software quality assurance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand business needs and translate them into system requirements

• Conduct software quality assurance testing to ensure the system meets the needs of the business

• Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure smooth and timely delivery of software products

• Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and TFS for code build and release management

• Use automated testing tools like QA Partner, Silk, or Selenium to ensure the quality of the software

• Execute SQL queries and prepare reports to support business decision-making

• Act as an advocate for the business, triaging tickets, and communicating with customers to understand their business needs

• Coordinate user testing and roll outs of new system features or updates

• Manage user stories, implement agile methodologies, and handle story bugs and code release and deployment

• Act as a bridge between users and developers, translating user needs into developer language without the need for coding skills.

Requirements • Proficient in Atlassian Jira and Confluence

• Extensive knowledge of Business systems

• Familiarity with Database and EO/IR systems

• Experience in AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Ability to create Business Requirement Document

• Experience in Design and Diagram creation

• Proficient in Azure DevOps

• Proficient in SQL and SQL - Structured Query Language

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred

• Relevant work experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
