Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client with a contract to hire Collections Agent opportunity in the Los Angeles, CA area. As a Collections Agent, you will play a crucial role in reestablishing the relationship, negotiating, and collecting on past due accounts. This includes building and fostering relationships with business owners who have borrowed working capital and assisting them with repayment. The ideal candidate will have a customer service background, able to utilize computer software, willing to be assertive yet friendly, and eager to learn. Compensation will be a base hourly rate with commission based on payment collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Successfully meet and exceed daily and monthly quotas for collections, ensuring timely and effective debt recovery.
Develop and maintain genuine relationships with small business owners, understanding their financial challenges and providing support and guidance throughout the repayment process.
Help mitigate monthly losses for Mulligan Funding through proactive collections efforts and effective negotiation techniques.
Utilize your exceptional sales skills to negotiate payment arrangements with our delinquent merchants, finding mutually beneficial solutions that encourage prompt payment.
Provide valuable feedback to management regarding collection strategies, customer interactions, and process improvements.
Support the sales teams by ensuring accurate and timely recording of received payments, updating customer records, and assisting with any payment-related inquiries.

* Excited / passionate about learning a new role
* Active listening and debating skills to understand customers' financial situations and creating a payment plan
* High school diploma or equivalent * MCA (merchant cash advance knowledge)
* Experience in collections, accounting, A/R, debt recovery, repayment, accounting knowledge or billing null
