Insight Global Gas and Electric Utility Client Account Manager in Los Angeles, California
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Gas and Electric Utility Client Account Manager to join the team in the SoCal region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business and client development, leading strategic growth plans, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a strong focus on business acumen, leadership, and strategic growth, and is ideal for individuals with an entrepreneurial flair and 8-10 years of experience in the field. This position would be the liaison between the client and the engineers. Helping uncover more business opportunities that our client can capture. The first couple of months would be focused on driving projects based on the current plan in place, identifying gaps and areas for improvement, and learning all the services the client offers to capture more business.
Role Description:
- Ideally finding a candidate with an engineering background, with project management skills being a plus
- Focus on infrastructure and design service lines, with responsibilities spanning mechanical, geotechnical civil, environmental, some electrical, and construction services
- Required to bridge gaps in service lines and understand the full spectrum of services offered
- Responsible for leading teams to deliver and acting as the quarterback for the company to ensure success on projects
- Emphasis on business acumen and strategic growth leadership, with a desire to grow the office

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 8+ years of related experience, including 4-5 years of direct client interaction in the energy market
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the region - 4+ years of sales experience
- Master of Science in Engineering and Professional Engineer License are pluses null
