The Ultrasound
Geographic Supervisor has a pivotal role within the department, supporting a
team of talented medical sonographers, overseeing daily operations, and working
towards future endeavors for growth and betterment of the department. This will
encompass a wide range of responsibilities ranging from team development,
department daily management and quality initiatives, to name a few. In addition
to administrative duties, the incumbent will play a crucial role in patient
care support within the Ultrasound section.
As a department
leader, maintaining and developing open and collaborative relationships through
all levels of the organization will be a critical attribute. Additionally, exceptional critical thinking
skills are necessary to navigate the daily challenges of crisis management,
patient care and navigating a diverse team, all to provide our patients with the
highest level of quality care.

Salary Range:
$45.93 - $106.37 Hourly
Qualifications
- At least 7 years as an Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist - required
- RDMS credential in Abdomen, OBGYN and RVT - required
- Allied Health Field BS Degree - required
- BCLS Certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
- Prior leadership experience - strongly preferred
- Graduate of CAAHAP ultrasound program - strongly preferred
- Mobility to travel between enterprise locations to ensure consistent and standard training, competency, protocol and accreditation expectations are followed
- Demonstrates wide range of knowledge and technical expertise in ultrasound technology along with the ability to operate and troubleshoot a variety of imaging equipment
- Capacity to identify areas of opportunity within the department, along with the initiative to promote and drive changes that provides team, patient and organizational advancement
- Ability to operate in a team mindset, build consensus and ensure open dialogue among individuals and groups, emphasizing commonality in values, mission and opinion.
- Ability to employ independent decision making, prioritize work, while handling multiple tasks to completion within allotted time
- Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Basic typing skills to input and operate computer systems such as the Hospital and Radiology Information Systems
