Description

Overview:

Performs work as part of a team in an cleanroom laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the cleanroom laundry facility.

  • Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Performs daily cleaning and decontamination inside the cleanroom areas, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning dryer lint traps, vacuuming and mopping, and removing trash.

Performs daily cleaning of general production, warehouse, break rooms, office areas as well as parking lot cleanup.

Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.

Works a schedule that is flexible to the Market Center.

  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions; Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to meet attendance schedule; Work is based on a shift schedule, and may include occasional Saturdays. Overtime required as needed.

  • Working Environment/Safety Requirements:

Work is performed inside the cleanroom or outside cleanroom areas.

Must be able to gown in cleanroom garments when performing job functions inside the cleanroom. Employee uniform is required to be worn. Requires the ability to move, lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires standing and walking for long periods of time.

  • Education:

High school degree or equivalent preferred
