Robert Half Paralegal: Entertainment Litigation in Los Angeles, California
Description
A prestigious 40-attorney firm is seeking a new paralegal for their LA office. This paralegal will focus on entertainment and complex commercial litigation. This paralegal will also assist with employment, class action, real estate, appellate, and other litigation matters.
This is a new paralegal position the firm is adding due to growth. My team has worked with this firm for years, and we have placed several attorneys and support staff here. Everyone raves about the tight-knit work culture, sophisticated work, and onsite perks!
The ideal paralegal will have at least 3 years of litigation experience, although 5+ years is preferred. A paralegal certificate or experience billing time is preferred, but not necessarily required.
This paralegal will be responsible for:
Calendaring (using CompuLaw)
State, federal, and appellate court filings (the firm will train on appellate filings)
Discovery
Subpoenas
Preparing for trials, arbitrations, mediations, hearings, depositions, etc. (trial binders, notebooks, lists of witnesses and exhibits, etc.)
This paralegal will work onsite 5 days/week for the first 90 days. Afterwards, this paralegal will work onsite a minimum of 3 days/week
