Our 889-bed nonprofit, acute, tertiary, teaching Level I trauma center hospital is located in the heart of Los Angeles. The Pharmacy Department has over 450 staff members who provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services as well as outpatient services via two cancer centers, outpatient pharmacies and ambulatory care clinics.

As Pharmacy Drug Use Policy (DUP) Manager at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will be collaborating with medical, nursing, pharmacy and healthcare team members on the development, maintenance and implementation of drug use policies, protocols and initiatives, drug information services and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
The Manager is also responsible for human resources management of the Drug Use Policy team which consists of 6 Drug Use Policy Specialists and 3 Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists. Other responsibilities include but not limited to strategic planning for biologics and therapeutic advances; collaborating with medical staff in development of evidence based guidelines; evaluating new drugs for the formulary; development of content for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings; collaborate with staff on complex therapeutic issues and target drug programs.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA
Pharm.D., post-graduate residency training preferred or equivalent experience
Board certification in pharmacology preferred
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
Board certification in pharmacology preferred
BLS certification
