About the Role/Position:
Our Monetization Product Manager will innovate revenue-generating features and functions. You will monitor and react to customer needs and feedback, constantly improving the user experience. You will be responsible for directing the prioritization and development of product features, working directly with business stakeholders, ad partners, and our engineering team. You will work closely with stakeholders, focused on quickly proving or disproving business opportunities through rapid prototyping and MVP delivery. You will balance rapid validation activities with a long term vision designed to scale. You will leverage the scale and resources of a successful, well-known business combined with the forward-looking feel of a startup.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build momentum and alignment and shepherd product concepts through execution, validation, and adoption.
Analyze, determine, and prioritize target customer, end-user, and internal stakeholder needs.
Ensure appropriate customer research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping.
Identify new monetization opportunities and enhance existing ecommerce, ads, and paywall product functions.
Own overall metrics, including user engagement, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
Steward outstanding design and world-class customer experience across all properties, coordinating closely with senior leadership.
Define and communicate a portion of the product roadmap aligned with company objectives, and supported by business cases, market research, customer data, and competitive analysis.
Document, validate, and prioritize product specifications within an Agile/SCRUM development environment.
Lead build vs. buy evaluations for key integrations, ensuring we are investing prudently in core competencies and technologies.
Product obsessive, with 3-5 years in Digital/Mobile/ product management, with expertise in managing consumer-facing ecommerce, ads product; Paywall experience preferred but not required
Proven track record managing products in fast-paced, Agile environments. You have shipped successful ecommerce/ads products.
Highly collaborative, with the ability to inspire others and push through barriers
Passionate about digital media, ecommerce, advertising, and digital products overall.
Understands ad tech and keeps current with the latest trends. Works with implementation teams to adapt to technical constraints without compromising end-user solutions
Excellent communicator. Articulates the product strategy and roadmap, structures the problem at hand, experienced and comfortable gaining alignment and in presenting to senior executives.
Analytic and results orientated. Uses hard data to assess opportunities, metrics-driven, ruthless in prioritization, overcomes obstacles to drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required, MBA preferred
