Comscore Senior Product Management Analyst in Juneau, Alaska

Comscore Movies has an immediate opening for a Senior Product Management Analyst to join our Hollywood Software Exhibition Products team, working with our valued client base, which includes some of the largest cinema exhibitors in the world.

The Sr. Product Management Analyst will be required to quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of the Exhibition software product portfolio, as well as the business operations supported by those products and services, in order to produce functional documentation and implementation plans. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years experience managing products and timelines, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate must also be able to work well with both external clients and internal resources, exhibiting confidence and a collaborative demeanor to build and maintain relationships.

As the Sr. Product Management Analyst, you will translate business objectives into discrete, actionable development requirements and manage Development, UX and QA schedules to complete system changes on time and on budget. You will provide the first line of product training and assist in product recommendations to ensure the client experience is seamless and consistent, in order to drive product usage and client retention.

Typical Key Activities:

  • Maintains a baseline knowledge of client’s industry, competitive space, and role in the market, including competitors, customers, and emerging trends

  • Analyzes market and competitive landscape to identify product features to build into our offerings

  • Builds compelling business cases and sells ideas to senior management team; conducts research to analyze market potential; contributes to the product vision

  • Prioritizes emerging technical advances and translates to product development opportunities

  • Acts as key liaison between the stakeholders and developers to ensure that requirements are being met, and task blockers are removed

  • Autonomously manages day-to-day work; brings projects and tasks to a timely closure

  • Communicates effectively by meaningful, articulate, and respectful verbal discussion; creates clear and coherent written material

  • Helps train new employees and mentors others

  • Upholds a high customer service ideal and positive attitude

Core Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years Product Management experience

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Azure DevOps Boards/Sprint planning tools

  • Experience with Comscore Movies’ systems and/or the Theatrical Exhibition business a big plus!

  • Polished communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to write clear, concise and well-researched product documentation

  • Business and market research skills

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Tackles difficult projects and pushes through roadblocks

  • Basic understanding of SQL databases and the software development lifecycle

  • Stays on top of emerging advances in the cinema industry and contributes ideas that lead to innovation

Organization & Process Mgmt:

  • Helps manage development schedules, set team priorities, and hold individuals accountable for results through detail-oriented process management and excellent communication skills

  • Drives automation and efficiency across team

  • Makes responsible use of resources

  • Identifies potential conflicts and takes steps to prevent escalation
