Nike’s Global ICON Studios team provides compelling product imagery that elevates the Nike brand vision. The ICON Studio team is seeking a Senior Supervisor, ICON Studio Product Logistics that will be responsible for leading the product logistics & inventory management of all merchandise received within the studio network to support the execution of premium, accurate and on-time image creation from line plan through retail and e-commerce from end to end.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a leader that always thinks ahead to accurately and efficiently manage the daily inbound, outbound, and inventory management related tasks that will be required in preparation for photo production within the studio to support Nike’s premium content delivery at scale.
You must understand photo studio logistics and inventory management so that you can coordinate effectively and drive continuous process improvements. Qualified candidates will be highly detail-oriented, collaborative, have a positive attitude, able to take initiative, be a problem-solver and have excellent communication skills within a creative-operations environment. The candidate should enjoy coordinating and overseeing processes to completion and must be able to work in excel and inventory management systems.
The candidate must also have the ability to contribute to a team culture of continuous improvement and be comfortable with adapting operational needs within the network of studios as the business changes. A candidate for this role will have experience managing a high-volume of merchandise throughout a production flow, solve challenges, and ensure timely delivery and return of product. This role will require effective communication across cross-functional teams.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will oversee the logistics department who is responsible for operating a supply chain of merchandise through the ICON studio network. This involves the coordination of the physical flow for all merchandise moving through the ICON studio network to ensure end-to-end inventory accuracy from delivery through outbound shipping and seasonal inventory liquidations.
As the Senior Supervisor, ICON Studio Product Logistics, you will have a team in several locations including a warehouse and three (3) photo studios. You will manage the team at ICON studio’s dedicated warehouse in Southern California that serves as the central hub of inventory for the studio network, forecasts/prepares inbound merchandise for production, and facilitates seasonal inventory liquidations. Your studio teams will prepare and stage product batches for photography, provide real-time inbound batching reports to inform photo crew booking teams, and coordinate outbound shipments to return merchandise off of the production floor to the correct destinations.
A typical day/week looks like:
Planning & facilitating inventory related processes for production season over season by communicating forecasts with the Production teams to ensure efficiencies and alignment across groups
Interact with multiple teams including Planning/Ordering, Styling, Production, and Post-Production to support the timely photo and video productions through completion
Create and maintain SOP’s related to the Logistics department
Manage seasonal staff timecards and scheduling
Lead departmental staff meetings to keep the team across each location aligned with production timelines & priorities
Work closely with the Planning team to identify upstream priorities as they come to the studio
Oversee the processes of inbound staging, receiving, & job initiation for merchandise before moving into production while maintaining on-hand accuracy
Tracking product throughout all stages of the photo production process using inventory and asset management systems, Tableau, and project management tools
Maintaining production requests for tracking the inbound receipt of merchandise, inventory pulls, and the return to clients when requested
WHAT YOU BRING
4+ years of related experience; successfully delivering results in a project management/logistics/pre-production capacity or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work with a diverse group or people
Technical aptitude
Microsoft Excel proficiency
Strong influence, collaboration, presentation and organization skills
Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic, positive energy and able to work well under pressure
