We are looking for a customer obsessed, data-driven, creative problem solver to join the US Acquisition Marketing Team for Amazon Fresh Stores. This is an opportunity to play a key role in building our new approach to how we reach our customers in Amazon Fresh.

The Senior Marketing Manager Acquisition will play a critical role in owning both strategy and execution across both paid and owned campaigns that are focused on driving customer acquisition to our physical Amazon Fresh grocery stores nation-wide. This marketing leader will use data insights to conceive of and propose new marketing strategies that they will test and learn on. In this role you will be expected to demonstrate strong analytic acumen, cross functional leadership, and end-to-end program management.

The right person for this role will be data-driven, have strong bias for action and bring a test and learn mentality to the work they lead. They must be comfortable operating in ambiguity and be effective at both the strategic and tactical levels as they will be tasked to create a strategy and execute upon it. The ideal candidate must be able to operate effectively in large teams, where ownership is spread across many points of contact. We seek an individual who is a creative problem solver, motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, build, and execute customer acquisition marketing plans for physical Amazon Fresh Store customers including creative development, targeting, execution and performance analysis

  • Manage paid and owned campaigns, working cross functionally with both internal and external agency partners

  • Drive new initiatives that include program management, stakeholder leadership and generating analytic insights with actionable recommendations

  • Partner with stakeholders within and outside the team to derive critical insights that can help build and improve the customer experience for Amazon Fresh Grocery customers

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
